Hi, I'm Lakota! If you're looking for an adventure buddy, I think we should meet. I'm obedience trained, crate trained, potty trained, and I LOVE being outside. Hiking? Exploring? Tossing a toy around? Count me in. I also love playing with other dogs my size who don't mind a little rowdy fun.

I'm a smart guy, and I really like having something to do. Training is one of my favorite things because it means I get to use my brain and hang out with my person. Give me exercise, enrichment, and a little structure, and you'll see me absolutely shine.

I've spent most of my life in the shelter, so new people and new places can make me a little nervous at first—especially men. If you'll give me a little time to settle in and earn your trust, I'll give you my whole heart. I'm much more "let's hit the trails together" than "let's spend Saturday at a busy coffee shop," and honestly... I think hikes are more fun anyway.

I'll need a secure yard with a tall fence because I'm athletic enough to surprise you, and cats just aren't really my thing. But if you're looking for a loyal best friend who's ready for adventures, laughs, and making memories together, I promise I'm worth the wait.
